Crowdpleasing rockers Stereophonics have announced a huge gig in Finsbury Park next summer as part of their 'biggest ever' tour

Stadium Anthems will be their first time on the road for more than three years and includes dates in Belfast, Dublin, Cork, Glasgow, Huddersfield and a final hometown gig in Cardiff.

The North London stop on July 4th will be their only gig in the capital with tickets on general sale today Friday, October 11.

The Welsh chart toppers formed in 1992 and have grown to become one of the UK's best loved bands.

Stadium Anthems promises to be a journey through their incredible career, with 'no hit left behind', including Dakota, Have A Nice DayMaybe Tomorrow, C’est La Vie, and A Thousand Trees, along with songs from a new studio album which lands in 2025.

Over the years they have clocked up eight UK No1 albums, 11 UK Top 10 singles, and sold more than 10 million albums as well as earning 5 BRIT Award nominations.

Stereophonics frontman Kelly Jones said: "Being on the road again with my best friends, playing all the hits of this band’s catalogue for people in huge outdoor gatherings through the summer of 2025 makes me so excited.

"We should make a new album…oh wait …we already did that!  See ya there for more good times…. TUNE!!! TUNE!!! TUNE!!"

Special guests for the tour will be announced in due course.

The band's Finsbury Park gig comes the day before a previously announced date for Dublin post punk rockers Fontaines D.C.

On Saturday 5th July they will play their biggest headline show to date in the North London park on the back of their fourth album, Romance, which was released in August.

The show will be part of a tantalising line up with Australian rock band Amyl and the Sniffers, and Belfast hip hop trio Kneecap, with more acts to be announced.
