A man in his 40s was taken to hospital after being stabbed in the early hours of this morning.
Police were called to Stoke Newington High Street, in Dalston, at 1.44am (October 5) to reports of a stabbing.
A man in his 40s was found with stab wounds, Scotland Yard said.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
His condition has been assessed as non life-threatening.
A crime scene has been put in place.
Shacklewell Lane is closed in both directions from St Marks Rise to Stoke Newington Road, AA Traffic News has reported.
There have been no arrests.
