Pictures have revealed the aftermath of a terrifying crash in Stoke Newington which caused a car to overturn.

Police were called to reports of an overturned car in Lordship Park just before 3.15pm yesterday afternoon (September 29).

A fire engine was also sent to the scene for around 20 minutes.

There were no reports of any serious injuries and no arrests, a Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed today.

Pictures from the scene showed a damaged white car overturned in the middle of Lordship Park.

At least one police car, a fire engine and a cordon blocking traffic could also be seen in the road.
