A man has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing.
Mehmet Bakac, 22, of Stamford Road, Tottenham, is charged with attempted murder and possessing a weapon in public.
It comes after police were called to reports of a stabbing on Oldhill Street, Stamford Hill, shortly before 8pm on July 21.
Officers attended the scene but could not find a victim or suspect.
A short while later, police were told that a 21-year-old man had attended hospital with a stab injury.
At the time police said his injuries were not life threatening.
Bakac will appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday (August 21).
