A young woman has been missing for more than four days after last being seen near the River Lea.
Police have said they are concerned for the welfare of 23-year-old Leyla, from Hackney, who was last seen at 10pm on Sunday (July 21).
A member of the public was the last person to see her, as she walked near Springfield Crossing Bridge over the River Lea.
Leyla was wearing all black clothing, a long-sleeved top and trousers.
She has been described by police as a white woman, with shoulder-length, two-tone black and blue hair.
Detective Inspector Conrad Trotman said officers were “working tirelessly to locate her”.
He added: "Leyla, if you see this please reach out to us or attend your local station - we want to ensure you are safe and well."
If you have seen Leyla, or know anything about where she may be, then please contact police by calling 101, quoting reference CAD235/22JUL24. For an immediate sighting of Leyla, call 999.
