A woman had to be taken to hospital after she was struck by a “crossbow bolt”.
Police were called to Club Row, Shoreditch, at around 7.45pm last Monday (March 4) to reports that a woman had been struck by a suspected crossbow bolt.
The woman, who is aged in her 40s, was found injured outside Clifton House and rushed to hospital by paramedics.
Her injuries have since been assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.
A police spokesperson said that officers conducted a thorough search of the area following the incident, but that no arrests have been made.
They added that “further enquiries” are still taking place.
