A man has been charged as part of a probe into a shooting in which a woman was killed and a teenager and young man injured.
Lianne Gordon, 42, was shot dead in Vine Close, Clapton, on December 5 last year. A 16-year-old boy was subsequently charged with her murder.
The teenager was also charged with the attempted murder of a 20-year-old man and another 16-year-old boy in the same incident.
A 20-year-old man from Clapton has now also been charged in relation to the murder investigation after two alleged incidents in the days and months leading up to the fatal shooting.
Elijah Sereki, of Worsley Grove, has been charged with possession of a bladed article in relation to an alleged incident in Vine Close on October 1 last year.
He has also been charged with possession of a firearm with intent, possession of a bladed article and affray in relation to a separate alleged incident.
This is alleged to have taken place in Rendlesham Road, which leads to Vine Close, three days before Lianne was shot dead.
The 16-year-old boy charged with her murder has also now been charged with the same offences as Sereki.
Police say this is because the two alleged incidents on October 1 and December 2 last year are being investigated by detectives leading enquiries into Lianne’s murder.
Sereki will now appear at the Old Bailey a week tomorrow (March 8).
The 16-year-old boy charged with Lianne’s murder will appear in custody before Barkingside Magistrates Court on Tuesday (March 5).
