A man has been rushed to hospital with slash injuries after a man threatened people with a knife in the early hours of the morning.
Police were called to Kenton Road in Hackney at 1.09am this morning (June 11).
Officers immediately arrested a man on suspicion of assault and possession of an offensive weapon. He has been taken into police custody.
A man sustained slash injuries following the incident. He was rushed to hospital where his condition has been assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.
A police spokesperson: “Police were called at 1.09am on Sunday, June 11, to a man threatening people with a knife in Kenton Road, E9.
“Officers attended the location and arrested a man on suspicion of assault and possession of an offensive weapon. He has been taken into police custody.
“One member of the public had sustained slash injuries. He was taken to hospital where his condition has been assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.”
