The wait is over and the final headline act for this year’s Luno Presents All Points East has finally been announced – step forward Dublin’s finest, Dermot Kennedy, who will be headlining on the bank holiday Sunday, August 27.

The addition on Kennedy to the already impressive roster of top-notch performers which includes  – Stormzy, The Strokes, Jungle and Haim - perfectly captures the spirit and the essence of All Points East, and why this award-winning festival garners so many accolades and so much love from both within and beyond the community.

“Dermot is the final artist to complete yet another amazing All Points East line-up," said Malaika Thomas, festivals marketing manager.

"There are so many artists on the line up to be excited about, and I can’t wait to see them all grace the stage this summer. Our VP of Talent bookings has done a phenomenal job of securing the best talent as always”.

Kennedy, whose breakout album Without Fear was a mammoth success, shifting over 1.5 million units and became the best-selling debut album in his homeland of Ireland, is no stranger to All Points East.

Dermot said: “I remember playing the main stage back in 2019 just before my debut album came out. It’s surreal to me how much has happened over the past four years since then and I’m so grateful to everyone who’s supported me on this journey.

“This headline show is going to be on another level and I’m honoured to be headlining this year alongside legendary artists The Strokes, HAIM, Stormzy and Jungle.

"See you in Victoria Park!”

Dermot honed his craft and signature sound busking on the streets of Dublin from the age of 17.

With his new album, Sonder, which was released at the end of last year and featured top five single Kiss Me, Dermot Kennedy admits he’s never related to a word more.

Sonder, “the realisation that each random passer-by is living a life as vivid and complex as your own,” encapsulates universal themes of love, loss and hope, with the platinum-selling artist evolving into an even more expressive and powerful storyteller.

From busking to selling out stadiums, Dermot Kennedy’s golden vocals and piercing lyrical content are at the centre of his success, and his All Points East headlining show this summer will be the next exciting chapter.

Other confirmed acts for Sunday, August 27, include Olivia Dean, SG Lewis, AURORA, James Vincent McMorrow and Nick Mulvey, with more acts to be announced.
