Two men and one woman have been arrested after a man was stabbed to death in Hackney.
Officers were called to Mare Street at 11.07pm last night (May 5) after receiving reports that a man had been stabbed.
A man aged in his 20s was found with stab wounds at a home in the street.
Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance also attended the incident. Despite their best efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two men, one aged in his 40s and the other aged in his 50s and one woman, aged in her 50s, have been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident.
They were taken to East London police stations where they remain for questioning.
A police spokesperson said that an urgent investigation has been launched and enquiries are ongoing.
They added that officers are working to trace the victim’s next of kin.
