Two people have been arrested after a firearm was recovered during a dawn raid in Hackney.
On the morning of Tuesday, February 21, a warrant was conducted at an address in East Bank.
During a search of the address a firearm was recovered.

A 39-year-old male and a 40-year-old female were arrested and charged.
The raid was carried out by the Met's Operation Yamaha.

Operation Yamaha is a dedicated operation in Central East Command that encompasses Hackney and Tower Hamlets.
Local officers work with other specialists units to tackle intra-London drugs lines.
