A new Pizza Express opens its doors in Hackney today (Wednesday, November 30).
The restaurant is in Mare Street, opposite the Hackney Empire.
Pizza Express open-style kitchens allow customers to watch 'pizzaiolos' create their dishes in front of them.
To mark the opening ahead of Christmas, Pizza Express Hackney will run a "snowball dough ball" stall next to The Hackney Tap on Thursday (December 1) from 12pm to 3pm.
The Christmas dough balls are £1, with proceeds going to music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins.
Natalia Gomes Monteiro, restaurant manager at Pizza Express Hackney, said: "There's no better time to open than the festive period and welcome customers into our beautiful new restaurant to enjoy the dishes they know and love alongside these festive favourites.
"Our Christmas menu and much-loved Snowball Dough Ball Day is sure to get Hackney locals in the seasonal spirit."
Diners can expect furnishings including wooden wall panels, leafy-green wallpaper and festoon lighting.
