150 men evacuate the venue as fire takes hold in early hours.
A Gay sauna in Shoreditch burnt down on Sunday leaving 150 punters to flee for their lives.
Chariots in Fairchild Street, which describes itself as’ the UK’s largest and friendliest gay men’s sauna’, had around half of its ground floor destroyed in the blaze which started around 6am.
Six fire engines and around 30 firefighters were called to the sauna at around 6.05am and the fire was under control by 7.40am.
Crews from Shoreditch and surrounding fire stations attended the blaze, the cause of which is still under investigation.
